Privacy Policy

"My Robot Friend — Beep!" ("Beep," "the App") is a children's interactive game built by an independent developer. We take your family's privacy seriously — especially because Beep was made for kids. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google display name and email address. This information is stored in Firebase and used solely for account management, purchase verification, and session tracking.

Purchase information. In-app purchases are processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We receive a confirmation that a purchase was completed, but we do not receive or store any payment card numbers, billing addresses, or other financial details.

2. Camera & Microphone

Camera. The App uses the device camera to detect smiles, waves, and hand gestures so that Beep can react to your child. All image processing happens entirely on-device using local machine-learning models. Camera frames are never recorded, stored, transmitted, or sent to any server.

Microphone. The App uses the microphone for voice interaction via the device's built-in speech recognition API. Audio is processed on-device (or through the operating system's speech service) and is never recorded, stored, or sent to our servers.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise location data.
• We do not collect contacts, photos, or files from the device.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or display ads of any kind.
• We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication & Firestore — used for user sign-in and storing account/session data. Governed by Google/Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — used to process in-app purchases. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools are integrated into the App.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is designed for use by children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described in this policy. A parent or guardian must authorize Google Sign-in and any purchases.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is retained only while your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will delete your data from Firebase within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices provided by Firebase and Google Cloud to protect stored data. Camera and microphone data never leave the device, so there is no transmission risk for that information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
